Merry Kissmas Hershey’s Kisses
For a Christmas treat for my daughter to take to school we made these.
When I saw a big bag of chocolate Hershey’s kisses at Costco recently I knew they would make cute gifts for my daughter’s class and teacher.
I briefed my husband on some little circular labels I wanted him to create for me. Once he’d finished the design was printed onto Avery sticky address labels that we had and then using a 3/4 inch circle punch I neatly punched out the Merry Kissmas design.
Then my daughters helped me stick them onto the bottom of the red, silver and green Christmas coloured Hershey’s Kisses.
We filled cellophane bags with three kisses – one in each colour and then tied the bag with some red and white striped bakers twine I had left over from Christmas last year.

For her teacher I made a container to put her chocolates in by upcycling two 1 litre bottles of Sprite lemonade (you could use any bottle but I liked the green of the Sprite bottle). Carefully using a scalpel I cut out the bottom ring of the lemonade bottles and then punched a few holes around the top (just with a singular paper punch) so that green ribbon could be tied through to secure the two pieces and make it look like a green apple. Then I went into the backyard to find a little twig to poke through the top of the “apple” and attached a felt and paper leaf with some craft glue to finish it off.
Miss T took all her treats to school in her little basket and loved giving them out to her class. Miss Gigi gave some to her teachers as well.
I know this post is a bit late for you to make them for end of school this year but they would also make lovely little gifts for neighbours or friends.
Merry Kissmas!
