Snowman Cake Pops

snowman cake pops

I’ve been working so hard lately on a party I’m organising that I realised I’ve neglected some Christmas posts. When I had a headache the other night there was no way I could do sewing or computer work so I did some baking instead. I’ve been wanting to make Bakerella’s snowman cake pops so I made sure I bought some Oreo cookies in small and mini sizes last time I visited the supermarket.

I love cake pops, they are so fun and yummy and they always go down a treat. You may remember the Christmas tree cake pops I made last year. I’ve also made egyptian mummies,  strawberries  and cupcake pops. Hopefully I can try many more designs next year.

I’m really in need of a nice cake pop stand to display and photograph my cake pops but lucky I had some eager daughters to help hold them for a few photos. It wasn’t the easiest photo shoot as they were hassling me about when and if they were allowed to eat them. Baby Z wanted to be carried with my spare arm whilst I took the pics and then this happened……

I call this picture “melted snowman”. It’s not always easy but sometimes it’s just about giving it a go.

Cake Pop book by Bakerella

I can highly recommend Bakerella’s cake pops book and it would make a fantastic Christmas present.

I love your ‘snowmen’, they are so cute. I would love to try and make these some time, any good books for beginners?

The book I mentioned and pictured above is the best. Bakerella is the cake pop master.
