2012 Year in Review

2012 year in review

Wow what a year 2012 has been! From packing up our Sydney home and moving to an acreage in February, to the girls starting at a new school, joining sporting teams and making new friends. Lots of parties to get to know friends and their families – My 40th, a Very Hungry Caterpillar Party, Red Riding Hood Party, Hello Kitty Party and our son’s Christening to name a few. This provided lots of opportunities to make cakes, cookies and sweet treats. With my own sewing / craft room at our new house I have been able to spread out my stuff and get really creative. That is when I make it in there! With four kids and one of them being a baby the days are long and full so this year by the end of the day I’ve enjoyed sitting back with hubby and watching something whilst doing some crochet or knitting. I’ve also taken up spinning wool and hope to fit in a lot more practice in 2013. We are also looking forward to our Alpacas being shorn and then I can turn their fleece into something fabulous. Our family has grown this year with our Alpacas, a bunny and a few more chooks and we are thoroughly enjoying the new space we have.

Thank you for continuing to read my blog and make comments. It really makes my day when I hear from you. I look forward to starting some new and exciting projects (I just started a new one today!) and continuing to finish some long standing UFO’s!

So bye bye 2012, you’ve been a great year for me and my family but bring on 2013…. I’m excited and ready!

Have you made any creative New Year’s resolutions?
