Top 3 For Home & Wellbeing Category

Central Coast Express Advocate - Craftsmumship

If you don’t follow me on Facebook you may have missed my exciting news. Last month I wrote about the Kidspot Voices of 2015 competition and becoming a finalist. Now I’ve made the Top 3 in my category Home & Wellbeing!

We’re in the local paper today with an article written by Emma Herd in the Lifestyle section of the Express Advocate newspaper. The kids were excited to have a photo shoot during the school holidays with the newspaper’s photographer. My daughter finished the finger knitting she was doing in the photo and gave it to him as a parting gift. Apparently it’s hanging up proudly at his desk. Cute!

They were so thrilled to be in the paper that they took it in to school today for news.

What this all means is I’m in the running for the amazing grand prize and the winner will be announced at the end of November this year. It also means that I’m getting a Ford vehicle for 6 weeks to take on some fun trips we are planning with the family that I’ll share on my blog.

Thank you all so much for reading and leaving lovely comments. As the newspaper says I really love blogging. I feel very lucky to have the best of both worlds, being around for my kids and a getting a great sense of accomplishment doing what I love on the blog. Exciting times!
