With all the crochet going on lately I needed to ‘pop’ into my kitchen for a break so I decided to made these yummy strawberry cake pops.
There are still many cake pops I want to test out from the fabulous book I bought last year – Cake Pops by Bakerella. I have tried a few of the yummy cakes on a stick from the book already (you can see them here – cupcakes, christmas trees and mummies) but still there are so many more cute designs to experiment with.
My eldest daughter wanted to have a go at piping although I’m not sure where the love hearts go on strawberries! Probably in someones tummy instead.
You have to work quickly making these strawberry ones as you need to get the white dragees on before the candy melt sets. Cute and yummy. Another winner but I don’t think I’d like to make a stack of these for a party as they take a bit of time and care to decorate.
Have you seen the book yet? If so what do you think I should try next? I’m loving the owls.
