This year I used my Thermomix to make some – Thermomix Homemade Icecream – as little Christmas gifts for neighbours and friends.
Using the Super Rich Choccie Icecream recipe from this awesome Thermomix cookbook – For Food’s Sake by Tenina Holder. There are some great recipes in there that I can’t wait to try out. (P.S. just searching for links and I found a link to the recipe if you want to try it out you can find it here)
These sweet little icecream containers came from Sweet Style and although I only decided on a recipe just before Christmas I bought these containers ages ago planning to be organised for Christmas. I’d love to try some other icecream flavours as well for these. On the list is some vanilla icecream to go with the yummy Caramel sauce my friendly neighbour gave me! Might have to find a good waffle recipe to go with them too.
Hubby kindly designed some sticky labels for that professional but homemade touch. The since 2004 is the year we got married so it’s the year we really started to become the little (big) family we are now.
Here is one of my little taste testers getting stuck into the homemade icecream. I’m planning to give my Thermomix a real workout in 2013 so look out for some good recipes.
