This is my crafty contribution for Christmas in July! A mini christmas wreath.
When we had a craft day at school where students could donate crafty items like fabric and wool etc someone donated a pile of old curtain rings. I grabbed them straight away to take home as I knew exactly what to make with them.
I’d been inspired by some mini Christmas wreaths on Pinterest before from this website called Whiskers & Wool where they used a plastic ring. I adapted this to make my own pattern to suit my wooden curtain rods and then finished it with a loop at the top to hang it by. Then I threaded a thin red ribbon through the gaps and tied it in a bow at the bottom.
I’ve made 8 and have about another 8 to make. They’d be cute on a christmas tree, hanging on a door, place setting for your christmas in July table or Christmas table and even to decorate a wrapped gift. Let me know if you would like to know how I made my version.
