The cards we made for the girl’s school friends are all ready to be handed out on party day on Monday. We created some simple Christmas wish cards with a message on a star background using PicMonkey and then imported it into iPhoto so that it could be printed out in a folded card format.
The idea came when I saw these Cadbury Little Wishes chocolates at the supermarket. Last year we made reindeer nose bags for the class and the year before that it was Kissmas Hershey’s kisses. Who doesn’t like a bit of chocolate for Christmas? Better than candy canes I say!
There are 10 in a packet and a portion of the sale from every packet goes to the Make a Wish Foundation. Inside are melt in your mouth yummy chocolate stars. I may have had to test a couple!
After printing the cards on some 200gsm thin cardboard that goes through the printer we trimmed the edges to make them nice and straight.
It was easier for the girls to write their messages inside before we stapled the chocolate on the front of the card. Simple, fun and easy enough for the girls to help with as they did have a few to make with 20 or so in each class.
