The Christmas tree is in front of the window this year and not so much in the corner (like last year) so that you can see the tree lights from outside the window. This meant that there was a blank wall behind the tree that needed something. Easily fixed with some giant holly Christmas decorations.
We took a quick trip to the dollar store which had everything we needed. Three red honeycomb balls, one large piece of green cardboard and some blu-tack to stick it up on the wall with. We rolled our cardboard up to take it home and then when we cut out the holly leaves (2 from the one piece of cardboard) the edges had a nice curl to it adding some more dimension.
Simple, cheap and easy to make. Would look great decorating a school or preschool too. I’ll have to keep my eye out for those little food pics with honeycomb balls at the end to make some mini holly decorations with those!
So tell me do you like them? If you make some giant holly Christmas decorations I’d love to see your pictures. Please share them on my Facebook page.
