For our teacher gifts this year we have created little ceramic punnets filled with gifts for our children’s teachers and then created these cute “I couldn’t have picked a better teacher” scalloped circle teacher gift tag printables that you can download for free! Even if you’re not using a punnet the idea can still work with a some “picked” fruit or even fruit shaped candles or ornaments.
I own a couple of these pretty ceramic punnets by Anna Gare which come in the most gorgeous colours and when I saw them at Domayne I quickly snapped a few up for gifts. I’ve also seen them at David Jones before too if you’re hunting for them.
We filled them with some homemade goodies like a scarf, crochet bath pouf, scented pillow and of course some chocolates.
Then wrapped them up in some celophane so that you could still see the punnet and gathered it together at the top using an elastic band to hold it in place until you have some ribbon and the labels ready.
After printing out the labels on some thin 200gsm cardboard that goes through a printer I used a 7.5cm circle punch to cut out nice neat circles (with a steady hand you could use scissors), then put a little hole in the top of the printable label to insert a thin red ribbon through and tie it to the top of the celophane to cover the elastic band.
So if you haven’t organised your teacher gifts this year yet I’m offering these teacher gift labels free as a download if you click on this link here – free teacher gift label printables
I hope you enjoy them and maybe it helps inspire your teacher’s gift if you haven’t done some already. Feel free to share this post around to your friends if you think they they might like it. I’d love you to let me know if you use my labels too and what you used inside as your teachers gifts. They really do such a great job with our kids and I’ve been so blessed for all my daughter’s to have such wonderful teachers. I hope they enjoy their gifts and well deserved break.
