These holidays I’ve done some more Little and Friends Knitting. I made one last year for the school craft stall but they took too long to make too many. Three is all I managed – one for each of the girls.
This is the pattern book I used “Little & Friends” which has 10 different characters to knit.
The first one I tried was Eugine the hamster and I just used some Moda Vera Pure Wool 8ply for him. Little and Friends are really great for using up small balls of yarn from your stash.
My eldest daughter wanted the whale called Matthew which I knitted using some Moda Vera Beetle from my stash. I do love his little water spray simply made by unravelling some yarn on top of his head.
The last one I made was Katherine the bunny for my youngest daughter. She wanted a happy smiling face on hers. Cute little toys to make but there are quite a few ends to weave in if you do hate those! If you were giving them to younger kids you’d need to change the button eyes but they would make a sweet addition to a present.
